Prophetic Medicine Today: The Interplay of Medicine, Ethics, and Sharia

Prophetic Medicine, or Al-Tibb Al-Nabawi, emerged during the Islamic Golden Age. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment.” Al-Tibb Al-Nabawi is often misunderstood and misrepresented when compared to modern medicine. This session will draw on early and contemporary works by individual religious scholars and institutions to debunk common misconceptions and highlight its core principles instead.
