WISH joined a variety of stakeholders that included government ministers and parents of autistic children for the recent launch of Qatari Autism Society. Qatar Autism Society is the successor to Qatar Autism Families Association, which was a support group formed by parents of autistic children.

At the ceremony, the work of Sultana Afdhal, CEO of WISH, and Neil Moors, Head of Community Development, were recognized for their efforts organizing a range of fun and healthy activities for autistic children and their siblings such as swimming, horse riding, and football training.
