The Ethics and Societal Choices of Healthy Longevity

Scientific advances in biomedicine, preventive health, AI and precision medicine are transforming ageing and creating opportunities to extend healthy life. Yet longevity is now a societal and policy challenge, not only a scientific aspiration. The session frames healthy longevity as living longer in good health, with dignity, purpose and social participation, while ensuring innovation is guided by ethics, equity, cultural values and the common good.
