FemTech and the commercial determinants of reproductive health

From period-tracking apps and fertility tools to wearables and AI, technology is changing how women understand and manage their reproductive and hormonal health. But how reliable are these tools, and who has access to the personal data they collect?

This session explores the benefits and risks of femtech across menstruation, contraception, fertility and menopause. It will consider how these technologies can support women’s health while protecting privacy, personal choice and access to reliable, evidence-based care.
