Heidi Stensmyren is a distinguished medical professional specializing in anesthesia and intensive care. She currently serves as Chief of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at Celloclabs AB, and previously held the position of Managing Director of Women’s Health and Health Allied Professionals at Karolinska University Hospital.
With a robust background in leadership, Heidi Stensmyren has served as President of the World Medical Association and chaired the Medical Ethics Committee. She is deeply committed to advancing women’s health, having actively engaged in policy work to promote women’s rights, gender equity, and equal access to healthcare. Heidi Stensmyren has been actively involved in advocacy for vaccination rates and improved access to preventative healthcare services. Additionally, she is involved in several clinical trials, contributing to innovative research aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
As Chair of the Donation Committee for the National Board of Health and Welfare, Heidi Stensmyren has significantly impacted organ and tissue donation practices.
