Dr. Natalia Linou
Dr. Natalia Linou (Linos) is a social epidemiologist and is the Deputy Director of United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDPs) Health team. She has 20 years of experience working at the global and local levels on health equity and sustainable development, including in the executive offices of UNDP in New York and UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in Beirut. Prior to her current role, Dr. Linou served as the Executive Director of the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard helping to build new actionable research agendas and partnerships for the Center focused on COVID-19, racial justice and reparations, climate change and a new Palestine program. She has designed and taught several graduate level courses on the political determinants of health as well as on climate change and environmental justice at Harvard. She also served as Science Advisor to the New York City Health Commissioner working on local challenges to health equity. Natalia grew up in Greece and is a three-time Harvard University graduate. She also holds a Certificate in Forced Migration from Oxford University’s Refugee Studies Centre.
