Dr. Ameena Jesaimani

Dr. Ameena Jesaimani is the Chair of Pharmacy Services at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar, providing strategic leadership and oversight for pharmacy services across the organization. She has extensive experience in pharmacy leadership, clinical pharmacy, medication safety, service transformation, and healthcare innovation.

She holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology, Toxicology and e-Health from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Throughout her career, she has led and contributed to major initiatives aimed at strengthening pharmaceutical care and improving medication safety across HMC.

Dr. Jesaimani played a pivotal role in transforming pharmacy services within HMC’s Ambulance Service, developing an innovative model that integrated pharmacy expertise into emergency and pre-hospital care. More recently, she has led corporate pharmacy transformation initiatives, including pharmacy service optimization, automation and digitalization, and the advancement of pharmacogenomics and precision medicine, strengthening the role of pharmacy in HMC’s evolving healthcare system.
