Dr. Dominic King

Dominic King, MD, PhD, is Corporate Vice President and Health Lead at Microsoft AI. He began his career as an academic general surgeon at Imperial College London, where he led applied research programs in patient safety, digital health, and health policy. He has published more than 100 papers in journals including Nature, Science, and The Lancet.

Dominic founded the digital health company Hark, which was acquired by Google in 2015, and subsequently led the health team at Google DeepMind. He later ran a clinical solutions business at UnitedHealth Group before joining Microsoft AI in November 2024. Since then, his team has conducted frontier research, launched Copilot Health in the United States, and established a major strategic partnership with Mayo Clinic.
