‘The Pain of Conflict: A Hidden Burden – Launch of the Pain Management Manual

The manual provides end to end practical guidance for clinicians to treat trauma pain in children and be underpinned by the Lancet transformative goals for pediatric pain – make pain understood, make pain matter, make pain visible and make pain better, the quick guide (phase one of the project) has been created in collaboration with expert pain researchers and pediatric clinicians using evidence-based research within the field of pediatric pain management. The manual provides pain management information from first contact at a major trauma scene, through surgery and hospital care, onto ongoing rehabilitation needs.
