Resilient access to health technologies

COVID-19 showed how quickly access to medicines, vaccines, tests and other essential health technologies can be disrupted. More recent conflicts, trade restrictions and transport disruptions have highlighted these risks further.

This session explores how countries can build more reliable health supply systems through regional manufacturing, technology-sharing, emergency stockpiles and international cooperation. It will consider how to keep essential health technologies accessible during future crises without losing the benefits of an interconnected global system.
