The Longevity Dividend: Lessons from Science and Society

Cellular reprogramming, epigenetic interventions and geroscience are moving from lab toward clinic, yet health systems and governments are not organised around longevity as a strategic objective. This session asks what it takes to turn longer life into longer health and productivity — a decisive shift from late-stage treatment to prevention and resilience — while recognising that frontier science may reach wealthy populations first, even as many low- and middle-income countries advance healthy ageing through primary care, vaccines and clean water.
