WISH has held six summits since its inception: in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022. Previous summits have grown to bring together more than 3,000 global leaders. Delegates have included healthcare experts from in excess of 100 countries, including delegations from more than 50 ministries of health that between them oversee healthcare policy for more than 2 billion people, plus representatives of major international organizations such as the WHO, UNICEF, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Carter Center, Save the Children, GAVI, The Global Fund, and the European Union.
