Proximie is an augmented reality (AR) platform that allows surgeons to virtually transport themselves into any operating room globally to guide, train, teach and support other surgeons and medical experts. It allows a remote surgeon to effectively “scrub in” and assist in an operation without physically being there. Proximie is HIPAA compliant and already in use. The medical community has immediately recognized the value Proximie adds and we have been fortunate to establish partnerships early on with University of California Riverside, UCL, American University of Beirut and leading NGOs such as Doctors without Borders and Smile Train.
